As a credit union, we don’t have big bonuses to pay to top bosses or dividends to pay to shareholders and this enables us to offer great affordable rates of interest on loans.
Dividends may be paid each year and are therefore not guaranteed. The level of dividend each year is decided by the members at the AGM.
As an individual, your savings are protected under the Financial Services Compensation Scheme up to a maximum of £85,000 per person.
Provided you have £5 in your membership savings account you can attend the Annual General Meeting held in February or March each year and vote on the issues that are raised.
