COVID-19 MEMBER UPDATE
UPDATED COVID ARRANGEMENTS – 22ND SEPTEMBER 20
Yesterday afternoon the Government reminded everyone that the Covid virus continues to pose a serious risk to health, and tightened the rules for individuals and businesses. The new rules are expected to last for months, and may be tightened further if infections increase.
Since March LASER Credit Union has been able to operate almost as normal, and we want to continue that as far as possible. But we have been making major changes behind the scenes to enable customers to access many of our services, such as requesting a BACS payment or a top-up loan, from the comfort of your own home using your smartphone, tablet or laptop using our mobile app. Customers who regularly withdraw cash at our office can also apply for an “Engage Card” – a VISA debit card that lets you have 24hr access to your money by using any cash machine.
Please call or email us if you haven’t already signed up for our new services, and we’ll help you through the process.
These new arrangements also mean that we will be able to continue to offer a good range of services to customers even if we have to change our opening hours because of Government restrictions.
Please remember that the aim of the Government’s rules is to keep us all safe by reducing social contacts so, if at all possible, please limit your visits to our office by using our online services on the mobile app and website and if you wish to contact us please do so by phone, or email.
