LASER is pleased to introduce it’s new Christmas Club Savings Account.
This will allow customers to save up for presents for their family and friends.
Start saving from as little as £5 per week up to a maximum of £500 per month.
Savings can only be withdrawn between 1st November and 31st January each year.
LASER is pleased to announce that it has launched 2 new Loan products, specifically for the hard working people of Rotherham.
The first one is a Platinum loan, allowing people to apply to borrow from £1,000 to £5,000, over 1 to 5 years, at an affordable interest rate of 1% per month, APR 12.68%.
This will allow people to purchase cars, improve their homes, get married, or have that dream holiday they have always wanted.
LASER is pleased to announce that this year’s Annual Geneneral Meeting (AGM) will be held on Wednesday 19th February 2014, at 2pm in LASER’s office in The Old Town Hall.
All savers with £5 or more in their savings accounts are entitled to attend the AGM and will be able to vote on the level of dividend that will be paid to members for the last financial year, ending 30th September 2013.
LASER Credit Union joins up to exciting new project!
LASER Credit Union is one of 31 credit unions to join the first wave of a major project set to transform the credit union sector over the next two years.
The financial co-operative is one of 31 credit unions across Britain to sign up to the ambitious Credit Union Expansion Project which aims to attract up to a million more people into credit union membership. The project is being managed by the Association of British Credit Unions Ltd (ABCUL) and has attracted Government investment of up to £38 million.
LASER Credit Union Ltd will have been helping the people who live and work in the Borough of Rotherham for 10 years in February 2013.
To celebrate this fantastic achievement, LASER is having a Celebration Day on Friday 15th March 2013.
Members are invited to join LASER staff and board members to mark this momentous milestone between 10am and 12.30pm in their office in The Old Town Hall.
The office will be open as normal during the winter weather, unless sufficient staff cannot make it in to the office.

Members can now access their balances on the website and also apply for savings accounts and loans.
We hope this will provide greater access to our services outside our normal office hours.
LASER Credit Union officially opened its new town centre premises in June 2011.
The Mayor of Rotherham, Cllr Shaun Wright, cut the ribbon at the new base of LASER Credit Union at the Old Town Hall in Effingham Street.
LASER was launched eight years ago and over the years has seen a continued increase in the number of people using its services for both loans, savings and advice on financial management.
